This week I continued to work with the meal plan committee on restructuring the meal system.
I also met for the first time with Rami and the club support committee. We decided on who would be able to do certain important tasks for the committee.
I also emailed our contact at Tufts in regards to the spring BILC, but I haven't gotten any response yet.

On thursday I met with Mark Collins and several union members to discuss possible meal plan restructuring. We expect to meet again in the near future.
New COWG leadership has been appointed, which hopefully means that Castle insect issues will be resolved soon.

This week I found out that I will be one of two Brandeis reps to the spring Boston Intercollegiate Leadership Council, which will be held at Bentley. I look forward to helping coordinate that.
I also am now part of the Club Support commitee, which meets tomorrow for the first time and will help serve as a liaison between clubs and the student union.

Mark S. Trilling - October 18, 2009
This week I attended the BILC conference at Tufts University, which was very productive and really started a lot of momentum toward intercollegiate cooperation among Boston area colleges.
I also had a meeting with Castle CDC Mike Vella. We talked about a lot of different things, most importantly the issue of heat in the Castle (or lack thereof). He has since turned on the heat, and he hoped to have the hot water issue fixed by Friday.
I also went to the first meeting for this year's Campus Life Committee with several university administrators as well as students from various areas of the Brandeis community, where we talked about issues including overcrowding and study space.
