Planning A Stein Night

A Stein Night can be anything you want it to be. The Department of Student Activities works together with student clubs and organizations to sponsor a variety of programs that are exciting and entertaining!

Are you and a friend looking to take your comedy act on the road? Do you know a great band that is looking to play at Brandeis? Is there a big game on that you want to throw a party for? The Stein is the ideal location for any of these programs and more!

Getting started

If you are interested in planning a Stein Night, stop by the Department of Student Activities in the Shapiro Campus Center (Room 201). A staff member will assist you in checking available dates, discussing your plans, and determining what will be necessary to make your Stein Night successful.

When are Stein Nights?

Every night is a Stein Night! A group can hold a function in the Stein any night between the hours of 9pm-12am (only until 10pm on Sundays — sorry!). Be sure to consider your audience when selecting a night!

What will it cost me?

Stein Nights are free! Depending upon your plans, there may be some additional costs due to extended hours of operation, technical support, and required University staff (i.e. campus police). Staff from the Department of Student Activities can assist you in sorting out whether additional costs will apply to your event as well as assist in identifying areas of sponsorship (if necessary).
