Depositing Money
Student clubs and organizations are encouraged to fundraise for their events and projects, and have the option of depositing their money in their club's personal fundraising account with the Student Union.
Depositing Checks and Money Orders
- Make sure that the check is made out to "Brandeis University" and that your club's name appears in the "memo" field.
- Fill out a deposit form, available in the Student Union Office or online.
- Attach the check to the deposit form using a paper clip (Do not staple!).
- Leave the completed Deposit Form with attached check in the Treasurer's mailbox in the Student Union office.
- You may email the Treasurer to confirm receipt of deposit.
Depositing Cash
- Come by the Student Union office during the Treasurer's office hours (listed in the directory) or email the Treasurer to schedule an appointment.
- Fill out a deposit form, available in the Student Union Office or online.
- The Treasurer will verify the amount of the deposit and give you a signed receipt.
If you are receiving funds from a department or office at Brandeis or if you are receiving funds from an outside organization, and would like to directly transfer these funds to the club's personal fundraising account, contact the Treasurer for more information.
