Letter from the Treasurer

Dear Leaders,

Welcome to Treasurer's Manual and welcome back to another exciting semester at Brandeis! For the first time, I am pleased to release TreasurerÕs Manual, which includes almost all finance-related information that Brandeis students, especially club leaders, should know about. Throughout the winter break, I was fortunate enough to be helped and assisted by other Union members to put this manual together. I am sure that this will be a valuable guide for all of you for the rest of this school year.

I have tried my best to put as much information as possible. However, please be advised that there may be some new rules or scenarios that could be encountered throughout the semester. If there are any changes to this manual, it will be updated in the Student Union Website at http://union.brandeis.edu. For your convenience, all information in this manual can be found on the Union website.

Fall 2006 semester was an important transitional period for the entire Union in financial aspect and for myself as I was exposed to deep and complex structures and systems of the Student Union. With a successful transitional period, I am confident that things will run much smoother and in better shape than ever.

In times of confusion, please never hesitate to stop by the office, call, or send us an e-mail Ð at the end of a day, all of us are here to help you and your student group. I am honored to be working with each one of you this semester.
