Zachary Bouchard: Candidate for Midyear Senator

First of all I want to say thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Zachary Bouchard and I am running for Midyear Senator. Of course, my goal is to earn your votes and be elected. As Midyear Senator I don’t have a specific platform with specific goals, but my platform is simply to take the concerns and suggestions of Midyears and even students of different graduating classes and see what I can do. Whether that is extending the hours of a certain building, helping to build events that come from my mind or yours, or in general something you want to see done, I hope to be the one you aren’t afraid to pass along your ideas to. Whether by email or in person, I’ll always have time to read and hear your ideas and requests. I’ll go as far as possible to get your ideas to the right people, and I’ll never leave an idea on the table.      Overall, I’m running for not only Midyear Senator, but also to be a member of the Student Union. Simply put, the members of the Student Union represent the student body, and I hope to be able to represent the Midyears and do some really great, out-of-the-box things that can improve our tenure at Brandeis.
