A3. Halloween for the Hungry Coordinator Wanted!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Waltham Group is seeking applicants to join a team of coordinators
for Halloween for the Hungry 2009. Halloween for the Hungry is an event
in its 23rd year which brings Brandeis students out into the Waltham
community on Halloween, trick-or-treating for canned goods and
non-perishables to be donated to a local food shelter. Last year, we
collected over 3,000 cans, and this year, we are looking to go even
bigger! Responsibilities will include planning and day-of event
execution.
Qualified applicants should be reliable, passionate about community
service, and have flexible schedules in September and October. All
years are encouraged to apply!
Please e-mail Susan Paykin (spaykin@brandeis.edu) to request an
application.

September 16, 2009 - 07:00PM Shapiro Campus Center TV Lounge
Join the Phront, where the club members will vote on the charity or
humanitarian cause the club will spend the semester fundraising for!
Charities and humanitarian efforts depend on donations to support them,
which in turn help a charity or humanitarian effort reach their goal.
Each semester we pick a new cause to raise money for. Each cause is
selected from a variety of proposals that Brandeis students submit to
the Phront. Over a semester we hold several fundraisers in hopes of
raising enough money for each charity the Phront supports per
semester.
