A2. Culture X Applications And Facebook Group
------------------------------------------------------------------------
This year's theme is: Culture X: Rise Up
We are currently living in a time of darkness attributed to a
tumultuous economy that has led to an extreme recession, unemployment
and other overwhelming hurdles. We are faced with confusion and
uncertainty. It seems that there is an unending amount of problems that
are arising and we are left asking, how can we overcome this?
This year, Culture X reflects both a culmination of the past and the
present. By working together, while celebrating and embracing the
diverse identities that make-up the world, there is hope that we can
rise above the odds and overcome any barriers that have been imposed on
us. This night will remind us of the many things we as a human race have
achieved and the continued success that is to come in the future.
Through our talents and passions, we need to come together as one and
rise up in an effort to create a new found hope! We will not be left
alone in the dark anymore. Instead, together we can create a new light
which will pave a clear and enlightening path for an exciting and
innovative future!
