A2. SEAC Week 2008
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oct. 27, 8PM
Southeast Asian Inter-Ethnic Relations Dinner & Dicussion with
Professor Hindley at the International Lounge
The purpose of the Hindley talk is to juxtapose the varieties of
experience of non-Southeast Asians who have spent time in Southeast
Asia. Whether it is something as short as a summer travel or as long as
having lived there, each of these experiences is a story worth sharing.
Possible questions range from why one lived there or visited, to
something as complex as whether one's stay affected their identity and
how. The aim of this discussion is not to come to a universal
conclusion about inter-ethnic and foreign-native relations in Southeast
Asia, but to sample the richness and diversity of experiences and
relations in this region of the world.
FREE catered food from Bann Thai! Who doesn't love a good thai dinner?
Oct. 29, 8PM
Bizarre Foods and Karaoke Night at the ICC!

us! Spring rolls and other "normal" foods will be provided as well.
Yay!

Asians
