A1. Quick survey about the vending machines on campus

As a project for AMST191-Greening the Ivory Tower, we are doing research
on the energy use and food options offered in the campus vending
machines. The information gathered will be used in a proposal to
implement a change on campus in the near future. Please take this 1
minute survey to help us out.

A2. 24/7 access to Main Library begins April 28th!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
24/7 access to the Main Library facility will begin Monday, April 28th
and will last through Friday, May 9th. A Brandeis ID card will be
required for entrance to the library between the hours of Midnight and
8:00 a.m. While service desks will close at Midnight, library users
will have access to computers, printers, copiers, scanners, and plenty
of comfortable spots for group and individual study. When using the
library after midnight, please be sure to dispose of trash properly.

Get ready for CARN(HIV)AL, our first AIDS Awareness Carnival, 2-5pm on
the Great Lawn! Come for FREE Kosher & Vegetarian BBQ, fun carnival
games, raffles, Music & Desserts from I-Club, and more! PRIZES include
Moody St. Gift Certificates, SGAC Shirts & SSIS Fun Safe Sex toys.
Suggested Donation $2. All proceeds will go towards Project Trust, a
Boston Medical Center organization that provides free HIV Testing and
education to the Boston area as well as providing our free HIV Testing
clinics here at Brandeis (twice this year!).

picking competition this Tuesday. Participants will select one stock,

hosting an event Campus Center Craziness with the theme “Around the
World” The event embodies all parts of the Shapiro Campus Center from

April 30, 2008 - 07:00PM Shapiro Campus Center Theater
Come out to our last round of BTV's "Brandeis Got Talents" talent
competition. Live performances will be held in Shapiro Theater on April
30th at 7pm. Come out and show you support for all of the wonderfully
talented contestants. At the end of the show we will declare the first
and (so far) only Brandeis Idol!
The first three episodes will run from 3:00 to 6:00pm. Refreshments
will be served in Shapiro!

Its finals week and things are getting pretty crazy. Come to the
Shapiro Atrium on the study day Thursday May 1st from noon until 4pm to
relieve some stress with the Student Events StressBuster. Get a FREE
massage from a certified massage therapist or get a FREE henna tattoo?
or have some fruit and such in the Chocolate Fountain or come at 1pm to
laugh your stresses away with the stand-up comedy of Evan Wecksell (as
seen on VH1's 'I Love the 80's 3-D'). There will be different
international food offered every hour (and as always, it's all FREE).

May 4, 2008 - 10:00AM Chapels Field
Come take a journey through time and a break from studying, at the
annual May Day Celebration. On Sunday, May 4th, the Medieval Society
will be hosting a mini-Renaissance Fair, on Chapels Field from 10:00am
till 5:00pm. Come enjoy fighting, free food, henna, chivalry, archery,
court, cool clothes, and come see what life was like during the
Renaissance! Free admission, free food, and tons of fun!
