Movie Synopsis:
In summer 2006, for the first time, Jerusalem was to host The World
Pride events, which were to culminate in a traditional gay pride
parade. The planned events stirred turmoil in the politically complex
city, with Jewish, Muslim, and Christian religious leaders banding
together in an battle against what they claimed would "defile the holy
city." On the other side stood the activists of The Open House,
Jerusalem's LGBT community center. This film serves as a disturbing
reminder of the clash of religion and homosexuality across countries,
religions, and cultures.

Be sure to search for the event on Facebook!
Co-presented by National center for Jewish Film's 11th Annual Film
Festival; Schusterman Center for Israel Studies; GLBT Team of CJP;
