A3. Birthright Israel 2008 - Go To Israel For Free This Summer!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Want to visit Israel for free this summer? If you're Jewish and you've
never been on an organized trip to Israel, you can go for FREE this
summer on a 10-day jam packed and fun trip with 40 of your peers--you
can even request to be on the same bus as your friends! Oranim
organizers have trips leaving several times a week from May-August from
NY, LA, Chicago, Miami, and Toronto. Join the over 150,000 participants
from 52 countries who have been on a birthright trip.

Birthright is a joint initiative of the Israeli government and a number
of Jewish philanthropists and communities around the world. The founders
were Charles Bronfman, Michael Steinhardt and Lynn Schusterman. Sheldon
and Miriam Adelson have pledged $60 million to the program, which has
allowed thousands of students who were on the waiting list to come to
Israel on Birthright this year.

Registration for Summer 2008 trips will open on Tuesday, February 12,
2008 at 10:00am Eastern. Join Oranim's birthright trips this

A5. Find Your Story! Liberate Your Photos in 2008 Festival of the Arts
------------------------------------------------------------------------
How many stories do you have hidden as images in the depths of your hard
drive? When was the last time you printed and framed the photographs
that capture the essence of your favorite person, place or thing?

Jill Seplowitz '08 wants to Find Your Story by creatively and
nontraditionally displaying those photographs to bring out their
meaning in a tangible way. This stimulating, interactive photo forest
will be part of the Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Arts, April 9-13
2008. Let her find your story and share it with the Brandeis community.

Send meaningful photos, fun snapshots, and questions to Jill Seplowitz
via email at FindMyStory@gmail.com, or in campus MB 2963. Brief
descriptions of the photos and their personal meaning are welcome.
(Please note that by contributing to this project you give the artists
full creative freedoms in displaying your photos.)
