A1. What is the Student Union doing for you?

- Turkey Shuttles: The Student Union's Services Committee will begin
selling tickets for the Thanksgiving Turkey Shuttle. The Turkey
Shuttle is a bus service arranged for Brandeis students to Logan
International Airport or to New York City and Long Island. To purchase
your shuttle ticket, come to Lower Usdan November 12-21 between 11:00
am- 2:00 pm.
- Better Funding for Clubs: Revised Funding Scope for Spring 2008
includes up to full funding for all transportation (excluding cars in
which there will be a funding ceiling of $0.15 per mile), up to full
funding for lodging, more available funding for decorations, special
attention to office supplies, and more funding for events since clubs
will not be able to charge admission for Finance Board funded events
for Spring 2008 semester. For more information, visit

A2. Innocence Week !
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Learn about wrongful convictions through Innocence Week sponsored by the
Innocence Club.
Mon 6-830 ICC Lounge - Dinner and a Movie - FREE PIZZA and a showing of
After Innocence, the tear-jerking documentary following a few exonerees
after their release
Tues 8-9 ICC Lounge - Teach-In - those members of the club who have
interned at one or more Innocence Projects will share their knowledge
of wrongful convictions, through an engaging and interactive
presentation
Wed 10 pm - Club Meeting, ICC Conference Room
Thurs 6-8 MAIN EVENT - Golding 101 - Journalist and exonerator Dick
Lehr and exoneree Neil Miller will speak about their experiences with
the criminal justice system and the world of wrongful convictions
Also, stop by our table in Usdan 12-2 Mon-Fri to sign a petition, and
donate money at our bake sale!

A5. Pluralism Alliance Grant Applications Due This Monday, Nov 12

Brandeis Pluralism Alliance Grants Available
The Brandeis Pluralism Alliance (BPA) sponsors grant competitions three
times a year for students and faculty who wish to initiate projects
addressing issues of identity, pluralism, and unity at Brandeis. For a
list of funded projects and more information, visit the BPA web site at

17; Monday, November 12; and Monday, February 4.

Come watch your favorite groups perform, compete in a gameshow to learn
about the facts of hunger, and make scarves to donate to Sandra's
Lodge, a shelter in Waltham. $2 requested donation to go to Hazon
Yeshaya, a soup kitchen in Israel feeding thousands every day, and
providing vocational training, free dental care, and a variety of other
benefits to the needy throughout Israel.
Performers will include JFA and HOT.
