Announcements

All-campus emails are known as "broadcast messages," and are sent from several offices including Student Life, the Hiatt Career Center, and the Department of Public Safety. The Student Union is also authorized to send broadcast messages to the student body. The Student Union Secretary usually sends out two "Announcements" emails per week, but may also send out other periodic reminders announcing important events that affect a substantial portion of the student body, such as Union elections and large social gatherings.

In an attempt to better streamline the announcements process, an announcement policy has been formulated. Anyone may submit an announcement for consideration. We encourage you to read the announcement policy before submitting an announcement to ensure that your request is processed and included in a timely manner.
